Service Description

Nationally recognised - HLTAID011 This course gives you the skills and confidence to respond to a wide range of injuries and medical emergencies in everyday life — with a strong focus on life-threatening situations and CPR. Delivered in line with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, it's relevant whether you're at home, at work, or out in the community. On successful completion you will be able to: Recognise and respond to an emergency — assessing the situation, identifying what care is needed and calling for help when required Perform CPR and operate first aid equipment, including a defibrillator (AED), in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines Clearly communicate incident details to emergency services and relevant people, while maintaining privacy and confidentiality Reflect on the experience after an incident, recognise any psychological impacts on yourself or others, and contribute to a review of the response Certificates to be issued within 48 hours of course completion. Booking >5 people with a maximum of 15 per class.
